Rated 4 out of 5Â by Tinty Insulated ducting 4 cold lofts
Had to replace standard ducting as condensation kept turning to water in the ducting and extracting performance was non existant.
Standard ducting through a loft space is a waste of time if you have more than 3 metres to run, in our loft more than 2 metres was not working. Our ensuite had 6 metres to run to the outside vent and the house was built with standard ducting which was never going to work. I bought this to replace it and a powerful in line extractor which solved the problem. Easy to fit.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Englishman Easy to fit and functional
This ducting is no more difficult to install than normal uninsulated ducting. Easily cut with a knife. Cut the inner sheaf slightly shorter than the outer and you can pull the insulation and outer sheaf over any joins to give consistent insulation. Works very well carrying hot tumble dryer air out from under a house on a 8 m run with no condensation en route. Definitely worth using if you need to get steam out through a cold area. Much cheaper and easier than fitting normal duct and insulating afterwards.

Fire retardant and insulated,i found this ducting especially useful for re-routing warm air ducting in a loft.

Used this for the first time as customer concerned at condensation forming in the ducting in loft space. Insulation is of a good thickness, and looks like it should do the job. Easy to cut with a stanley knife, and suprisingly easy to install as insulation can be easily pulled back to attatch the ducting to fan unit/vent and pushed back again. As a tip, I would open the box in the area you need it (ie loft) as once opened the ducting has a mind of it's own, and you may struggle to control it!
