Too small for most roofs
Although i am a massive fan of Lyte ladders and roof ladders. This size is about as useful as a chocolate fire guard.
The average length roof is 5.3m long (around my area anyway) so this ladder is too short, Obviously you can put a short 1m homemade cat ladder to make up the difference, but that is defeating the point of buying a proper roof ladder.
Also you have to over reach at the top of the ladder on the gutter level to flip the hook over the ridge.
I usually use the 3.4M - 5.6m roof ladder as that covers most roofs and would recommend that one instead.
Although if you feel that this ladder IS long enough id recommend it as Lyte Roof ladders are well balanced, Easy to work with, feel nice to work on and are strong.
Hope that this was helpful.

Can you split the two parts?
Can you split the two parts of the ladder to get a roof ladder only 2.94m long? I only need a short length and having it heavy and/or long would be difficult as there is an adjacent fence and boundary into trees which may get in the way.
It is not possible to separate a two section roof ladder. The bearer bar closest to the ridge-hook prevents separation.
