I bought 5 packs of these handles just to freshen up some doors, however on opening the packs i found at least three packs had visible faults.
1- an extra countersink hole on front of back plate
2-dark tarnish marks on handle that would not rub off
3-The return spring only returned half way
4- worst of all at least 1/3 of the back plate chrome was peeling off.
Needless to say i returned the for a refund. Yes they are cheap, but are they fit for purpose? I'll let you decide..

Bought 5 of these for replacing the downstairs handles and hinges.
One unit had a bent hinge.
One unit had a faulty latch / lock mechanism. It had twisted so didn't operate smoothly.
The latches have a fair bit of play in them so pushing the door wouldn't latch them closed but closing the door with the handle down then releasing it works.
The biggest problem is the screws supplied. The screws that hold the handles on the door appear to be made out of cheese. Despite drilling pilot holes, I still snapped the heads off a couple of screws (I've only fitted two handles to date) and I wasn't using excessive force either.
The chrome on the handles is adequate but there are small black specks in places where the chrome hasn't gone on properly.
Not brilliant but reasonable value if you're not too fussy.
