Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for wood floors This is twice the price of Danish oil. I've used it on real oak floors here instead of worktops. It has a good finish. Knots go almost black. But the main timber is a soft honey colour. Buy lots of lint to remove it. If you leave it on it bubbles later. I had some left so used it on a pine floor too. I'm not as keen. It's a yellowish honey colour, but everyone else loves it! I'm now investigating polishing it a bit. It's definitely a matt finish. If you want shiny..... I guess it's varnish you need.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a good finish. Used on a beech block worktop sanded down to bare wood. Applied with brush 3 coats, left a 'bumpy' un-flat surface which when tried to finely sand left pitted marks on the surface. Normally used 'Finishing oil' which is far superior finish to this. Have to re-sand to remove! Would not use again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much better than Danish Oil This Tung oil is excellent for wooden worktops. It brings out a deep brown glow in the wood and after a few coats the wood of the worktop becomes waterproof. I did five coats on five metres of worktops and still have some left in the tin. Good stuff and worth the money.
