Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent finish! Bought this Wax to rejuvenate our original parquet flooring that has been beaten over the years by the previous owners. The floor was part vanished and part coated in something else. I took a sander and edger to it and took it back to bare wood. Applied the wax using a roller and brush for the edges/corners. Applies really nicely with either. Much faster with the roller of course. I just used a smooth finished emulsion roller with a long handle. The Wax is runny, like watered paint. Smells like baileys so a little strong but good. Ha Only just finish 1st coat so only 3 stars for performance. Looks amazing after 1 coat. Shows up all the different effects and colours in the wood/floor. Would buy this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fab product After sanding my parquet floor for what seemed like weeks I wanted to find a product that would protect it without giving the horrible look of varnish. This did the trick better than expected. It's as thin as water and a little goes along way. The floor is left a couple of shades darker than the pasty, natural finish which brings out the natural wood grain. I'm that impressed that I intend to use it on other floors and surfaces in the house.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good finish, easy to apply Used this on our newly sanded sitting room floor. The stuff is really runny so easy to apply, and I still have about 1/4 of the tin left after two coats, which is more than I expected. Only downside is it takes ages to dry. The finish is good, warm but not too yellow, and it brings out the wood grain nicely. It does have some scratches already (3 weeks later), but mostly from moving furniture - it seems to hold up pretty well to the cats claws (unlike some wooden floors I've had in the past!)

using wax oil on indoor stairs - Liberon Hard Wax Oil

Hi This product sounds amazing. I'm looking to use this for indoor stairs given that the stairs will need to be accessed during the day, so wondering what advice you can give re practicality of doing this given drying time. I have thought of covering every other step, let that dry and then do the other one. (unure what the state of the stairs are, ie, paint spots etc so am expecting a fair bit of preparation work, by hand!) We will be having carpets eventually so this needs to look good for about 6 - 9 months. thanks
