Rated 5 out of 5 by Best undercoat Leyland dark grey undercoat is the best , can be used for most dark colours or mixed with white for mid colours ,good coverage, excellent opacity . Very happy will purchase again. 11 Jun 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Undercoat paint I norrmally use the more expensive paints from a leading brand, beginning with the letter D, but decided to give this a try. I have to say it covers just as well as the more expensive paints and with the same ease. 25 May 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by 2.5 ltr Leyland trade U/C Good paint that I have used for over 20 years. Excellent filling properties. Worst aspect about it is getting the shrink wrap off the tin! 9 May 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Leyland Undercoat 2.5litres Great stuff at a great price. Goes on nice and silky, then sets into a great undercoat for your final gloss. Well worth the money. 30 Apr 2016

Answer:
Hello. I would advise using the Leyland Trade Acrylic Primer Undercoat if you are over coating with Acrylic Eggshell. Adhesion is far greater when applying a water based topcoat over a water based undercoat. Thanks

Answer:
Hello,
I wouldn't recommend this as a wall undercoat, it is a solvent based paint, so it will have a very strong smell. I would recommend an acrylic primer undercoat, this is more suitable for your walls, as it is water based.
