Rated 4 out of 5 by Great But make sure u use a primer first flows nicely. Downside is drying time but again most Leyland products have same prob 7 Jan 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good value but flawed Not sure what else to say but it does the job cheaply. It's not non drip or low odor or quick drying, it's just brilliant white gloss at a good price. It covers well and looks good on the wood work, I've done two doors, the architrave and twelve foot of skirting with about a quarter of the tin, 6 hours later the paint is still tacky although it's not awful smelling we are well ventilated I imagine it could be quite strong in a more confined environment. All in all I'm not unhappy with it but for a few pounds more you can get more features in your paint. 2 Dec 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Shine on! This gloss is the business , high gloss, and I must point out it's really worth using the LEYLAND UNDERCOAT, do it right, and make it BRIGHT. 25 Nov 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Brilliant White! Really pleased, a brilliant white unlike the so called other brilliant white's of other brands. Good Cover, Good Price and my paint of choice from now on. 17 Nov 2015

Answer:
If your garage door is either bare wood or metal, you would need to prime the surface with an appropriate primer. I would then recommend the use of the undercoat before apply the gloss
If the garage door is previously paint and sound, I would recommend the use of the undercoat before applying the gloss.

Hello ma1599.
A short pile roller is the best for the Leyland Trade gloss pain brilliant white. Foam rollers are ideal for this application.
