Leyland Trade Satinwood Gloss Paint Brilliant White 5Ltr
YELLOW CREAM - NOT WHITE!
Put simply if you are wanting a brilliant white paint that stays brilliant white look elsewhere.
After spending 4 days painting the house woodwork with this stuff it was clear that something was wrong. The paint went on a bright white but dried slightly cream looking. This is onto fully sanded and properly prepared 1940's woodwork with no sapping or oil issues. After re-coating a further 2 times the finish continued to be cream looking each time it dried.
We had carpets being fitted so I was forced to accept it and hope it would stay only slightly cream. 6 months later and every inch of the painted woodwork and radiators are ghastly yellow clotted cream colour. The paint has yellowed quicker and worse than any other paint I've ever used. It's more yellow than the cream paintwork we applied to the walls!
I've attached a couple of photos to show the colour after 6 months. Photo one clearly shows how yellow it has gone compared to the 6 year old brilliant white woodwork still on display in one of our bedrooms.
This Leyland paint is absolutely awful stuff. I'd recommend avoiding it at all costs.

Leyland paint - as good if not better than Dulux, at a fraction of the cost. Great coverage, application smooth, and covered really old paint which had only a light sanding. Definitely recommend this product.

Good for budget
Good product for the price, but I have found it yellows quite quickly in some of the properties I look after. Even with use of a high quality primer.
