Leyland Trade Fast-Drying Paint Brilliant White 2.5Ltr
No Smell, Dries Too Fast
I wanted this paint to be good but the finish lets it down. The paint dries so fast that it means the brush strokes are left in the paint. No mirror finish like normal gloss paint. Shame because the lack of smell is great. It's quite pricey too.

Leyland quick dry gloss
Well I bought this only because it was to be used in bedrooms usually less odour than solvent based, well it went on great, had no smell and was touch dry in less than 30 min,may need another coat but would certainly use this paint again.

Will use this every time now
This is the first time I have used water based gloss - having always used acrilic based satin paints before.
We were looking for a smooth gloss finish without the smell, chemicals or yellowing of a traditional gloss paint.
This was quick and easy to apply and dries really quickly. In some cases a single coat was adequate.
Painted over acrilic undercoat/primer, acrilic satin or sanded down old gloss - this paint coped with the lot!
Can't comment on its longevity as we only painted a few days ago.
Will be using this as paint of choice from now on.
Don't know why it was unavailable online or at any local Screwfix branches - but managed to get it as the household DIY chain owned by Screwfix's parent company.

LEYLAND WATER BASED GLOSS?
This is without a doubt the worst performing water based paint i have ever used. It would hardly match a vinyl silk for shine and had no flow showing all the brush marks and dried far too quickly. I had to re-do with an oil based gloss. If there is a plus side it was white and you can wash your brush out in water.
