Rated 4 out of 5Â by HertsDIYer Layflat Hose Yellow 10m x 1"
Used once only so far, don't know how long it'll last if stored for 6 months between uses, I suspect the internal walls might stick together and make it unusable.
So far after one use v. good.

As a tradesman, when my own driveway flooded in torrential rain, I bought all the gear to use should it happen again. It has sat in the shed since it was delivered. I needed it 30 mins ago and what a total waste of effort and money!
The hose simply would not fill with water as it had stuck flat. By the time I opened the flat hose up manually, the water from the drive had already gone through the airbricks and into the house.
DeWalt ... this is absolutely useless and a shock of such poor quality! Be warned, do not buy this!

Very dissapointing purchase. In cold weather it has to be softened in hot water and due to its natural tendency to flatten it frequently slows the flow of water. Use a round corrugated hose instead with your pump.
I would really like my money back

Bought 1" lay-flat hose to connect to a 500W submersible impeller type pump in a well in my cellar. Due to recent heavy rain this was a temporary installation for flood precautions while the main pump was being serviced. The temporary pump operates, on average, once every 30 minutes for about one minute duration. The hose is designed to take 90 psi so sounds like it should be robust. The hose was lifting water through about eight feet with free and unrestricted flow to a drain - internal pipe pressure should be negligible. Within a couple of days, pinhole leaks started to appear along the lay-flat crease lines. Within a week the hose had split along a crease-line near to the pump. Ironically, the split caused the very problem the hose was installed to prevent. I'm returning mine!
