Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tool I bought this as my daughter's car is going for scrap after breaking down and she had only just filled with petrol. After a few pumps to prime the pump, it then only took about five minutes to fill a two gallon can. I can recommend this for occasional, home use. At this price, it beats getting mouths full of petrol every time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent for what I needed Had a broken down car going for scrap, That had nearly a full tank of fuel. The product worked brilliantly a lot better then a mouth full of fuel. The only downfall of the product was one of the pipes needs to be longer, but depends of the car also if that's what your using it for I guess.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the job Performed far better than i expected for the price. Pipe provided was suitable for the job in hand and was of adequate length. Altho only designed for a basic action, the pump performed this job effortlessly and without unnecessary drama. Before purchasing i checked out similar products from other suppliers but was not encouraged by the reviews. Im happy to give full rating for this product as it enabled me to carry out the job in a trouble free and a speedy manor

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Exceeded expectations I bought this product to complete a fuel filter change on the car, I needed to suck fuel through the new filter to prevent an airlock whilst reconnecting the hoses. I was sceptical about the performance of the product after reading the reviews of others, but I found it to be exactly what I needed, I was able to draw fuel through relatively easily by squeezing the bulb until there were no bubbles showing in the input hose. I have some advice for using this product: The no-return valve does seem weak (especially when drawing air through) and it will let fuel go backwards if you stop pumping. For this reason I trimmed the hose to 15cm from the filter to the pump but retained the longer hose from the pump to the container I was using to collect the fuel. Once the fuel was pulled through to the pump, it became much easier to achieve a good flow - it helped to press the pump firmly with my full hand. I used the pump horizontally to minimise the effect of gravity (instructions say to use vertically) and I can see why you might find it difficult to draw fuel vertically along the full length of the hose from a fuel tank. But, overall I was happy with the performance as I was able to complete the job!

Fuel filter

Hi, has anyone used this after a fuel filter change? If so how did you find the pump, and where abouts did you connect it. Any tips? Many thanks
