We've just installed a pair of these in our new home and they look great on the wall.
They come well packaged and are easy enough to install. We did have to break out all the additional small bits of plaster that overhung the back box as the switch does require the whole space to fit in and, therefore, be flush against the wall.
I'm a bit sceptical about the reliability on them due the numerous other reviews making mention of it blowing but it is too early for me to say either way yet. I would like to add that the switch has on/off through pushing the dial in and this appears to be a bit flaky when trying to turn on as it doesn't always seem to engage without a jiggle and, since this is core functionality to the product, it is why I wouldn't recommend the product.

Looks great but.......
I bought this with matching sockets to replace an existing dimmer when room was decorated 6 months ago.
I'm now on number 4, and its failed again. Old dimmer had worked with same load (single 40W incandescent bulb) for over 20 years. 1st one of these did 2 hours. 2nd one just over a day. 3rd one was better - did 5 months. Latest one did about 3 minutes.
2 different failures - one where in doesn't switch. The other failure starts with dimming range changing from nothing through flickery and dim to dim with a buzzing noise - then nothing.

I purchased 2 of these for a full rewire and both failed after a week. The rest of the range seems ok, but the dimmer switches are a waste of time.

I have this style of switch and socket throughout my whole house and they look great. Easy to attach too. However, when a bulb blew it also blew the switch so I'll be replacing it later today. Not happy with that.
