Labgear TV Aerial High-Gain Digital
Picks up TV signals but...
I'm always suspicious of TV antennas with wacky shapes as compared to your traditional yagi, as I wonder how much is for show rather than performance. The beam is quite short. A standard yagi I would expect to be longer (and the longer the higher the gain). Nevertheless the short length makes it good for a loft space. It does pick up signals although I didn't have another antenna to compare it too. It was very easy to assemble and came with a mounting bracket. It picked up a signal over a wide sweep. Again a good high gain yagi should be very directional, so not sure what to make of this. Bottom line is that it works, I am just not sure how well!

Simple and Easy
This is a simple and easy Aerial to fit. Instructions easy to follow, assembly in minutes and simple to fit. Really good picture quality on TV even although I had no accurate way of detecting which way to point it. Fitted in Loft and was surprised at how good the signal quality is.

DO NOT INSTALL OUTDOORS
Did I miss something? Water accumulates in the plastic box containing the pcb and rf connector. Within 2 months the core wire in the connector corrodes completely. That's happened twice (I have been unable to find a replacement part and foolishly replaced the entire first aerial by a second identical one). Clearly not suitable for outdoors, despite what the advert says. In any case, in a fringe area [as I am] a mast head amplifier and additional booster are needed to receive an unbroken digital picture on all [freeview] channels, regardless of which of the 4 transmitters available I point it at. I need something more powerful and weather-proof.

Does the job very well
This aerial was installed in a very weak K band area and it did the job extremely well, taking us from 12 pixelating digital channels to 98 perfectly clear channels. Excellent price for a high performance aerial, highly recommended.
