Rated 1 out of 5 by It doesn't work. I have no idea what the previous review means, but if he means 'it doesn't work', then he's right! One TV will work, but the other doesn't, so what this product is for I dont know. I shall buy the other product mentioned above #which has good reviews# and simply put it in a waterproof junction box. In the meantime I have simply put a terminal block on the 3 coaxial cables and both TV's work fine, so there really is something not quite right with this product. It's probably for something very clever! 9 Oct 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by 2 Way Satellite Splitter but feed two receivers from a single LNB. but One of the outputs has DC pass, and the receiver connected to this supplies power to the LNB. In the case of most systems, this ‘master’ receiver will also select polarity, and thus determine the channels available to the slave receiver. Although an inexpensive method of running two receivers from a single dish, it is not as flexible as a twin LNB which allows two receivers to select channels of either polarity independently. if ‘master’ receiver turn off so the slave receiver will lost segenal too becouse DC power come from the ‘master’ receiver only so use twin LNB IS better 13 Jan 2014

Answer:
Power Pass basically means that the port on the splitter will allow a 12v power signal through as this is often used to power up masthead amplifiers. If you are not looking to amplify the signal then this will still work as a standard splitter. Thanks
