How often do the filters need replacing?

Asked by: hippychippy36
There is no hard and fast rule as it will depend on hazard concentration and respiration rate of the wearer. If you are using this for working MDF it is likely, although not certain, that the dust filter will clog before the gas vapour part is exhausted. You will know when the dust filyter clogs as the mask will start to suck down onto your face When it doe sthis the filters will need replacing, if not you will be able to feel the mask seal start to leak. If you start to notice an increase in taste or smell inside the mask, the gas part has become exhausted and you should change filters straightaway. (MNJ)
