Rated 4 out of 5 by does the job purchased this to fit to some scaffolding we had up when we were replacing outside lights on a building. The item does not come with a battery and you will need a pj996 battery. screwfix sell these item number 3112G. The lamp does come with a bolt and allen key to attach to scaffolding to prevent theft it also has a little plastic handle for carrying the lamp. Care needs to be taken installing the top of the lamp to the base as the swivel head is used for turning the lamp on and off and if its not fitted correctly means the lamp cant be turned off. the lamp doesnt have a photocell fitted so in day light hours you have to remember to switch it off so you dont exhaust the battery. 20 Dec 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Cheap and cheerful Needed a hazard lamp for a skip and Screwfix had one in stock. I really wanted 2 but apparently only one is stocked at a time. However a second unit was ordered and delivered to the store next day. Low cost item - battery cost nearly as much as the lamp. Did the job. 12 Oct 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by A useful hazard light Needed in a hurry after 5.00 pm because a skip lorry had not arrived to remove some rubble on the road in front of my house. Fulfilled the job OK and still working next morning. My only criticism is that the advert gave no details of the battery required nor how long it should be expected to last. Battery was a 6 volt 4R25 type, which Screwfix do not stock. Fortunately there a DIY store also open late where I could get one. 23 Oct 2014

Answer:
Screwing the top half (orange) section of the light off will reveal the section of the Hazard light you need to insert the battery.
