Plates are good value. Down side is they are not all perfectly flat, Drilled holes are too big and not counter sunk so more suited to pan head screws . You can counter sink but would need to use No10 screws. Hope this is of help to you.

I was suprised at how thick and sturdy these plates are. A must to have in your toolbox, I shall be using them for a few repair jobs in the garden. At such a reasonable price, I think I'll buy another pack.

I have used these mending plates on a number of different jobs. They are thicker and more robust than I expected. Very Handy!
The holes are slightly tapered to allow a better pressure distribution if using countersunk heads.

This is an item that I use a lot of. As I work in both Industrial and Domestic Properties I always find the jointing plate is handy for repairs and construct ion. The last job was building a wind tunnel to test Anemometers which had to be easily dismantled for storage so the repair plates came in very useful.
