Rated 2 out of 5Â by PlumberSam Novelty just about falls short
Quick release mechanism not as ideal as you think it might be. Compared with the original Stillson this seems like less of an innovation and more like an inconvenience.
The jaws kept on slipping and I felt that there was a lack of grip between upper/lower jaws.
I've given it a 2-star 'Fair' rating because there is the possibility that i'm the problem & that i'm just not using them correctly ( I used them on brass nuts, barrel pipe, etc).
In my opinion they're not value for money.

I bought this wrench in the hope of using it on pump nuts, with a jaw capacity of 57mm i considered this to be perfect But the small jaws prevent any real grip to both pipes and large nuts and i eventually found that this tool stayed in my toolbox more often than not.

There is a very good reason this is the plumbers choice, this tool is well built and easy to use. good and heavy too.
It will last for ages, get used loads and is very good value.
