Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good knife Unlike some earlier reviewers who seem difficulty reading or interpreting diagrams, I have found this knife to be very good so far. I comes with 1 blade which Irwin says has a life equivalent to 3 'ordinary' blades. Up to 10 blades can be stored inside the handle, which opens with a sliding catch. The blade can be replaced easily by sliding the retracting button to the 'unlock' mark and pushing the release button. No screws to undo.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reliabiliable strong knife Impressed with the strength and weight of the knife, useful for heavy duty bits and feels good in the hand, can control a firm grip

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average Good solid feel and construction, comfortable trigger grip shape. Stores the blades securely - no rattling about! Quick blade change works really nicely, however blade is quite loose and has a lot of play in it. Retraction system is quite tough to press and isn't very smooth. Irwin Bi Metal blades are rubbish - not very sharp compared to Stanley or even DeWalt. Although depends what you're cutting and what you need!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does what it says I'm not sure where other reviewers have got their negative comments from. It doesn't require any screw removal to change the blade, I checked before I bought it and then double checked in the store, no screws! It doesn't say it comes with 3 blades, it says clearly that it comes with one and that an Irwin blade is equal to three regular blades! I haven't used it in anger yet but the build is strong, the extra blade access point is practical and as its Irwin I wouldn't have any concerns.
