Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth and crisp I needed to lay an engineered oak floor in our garden room. I didn't want to cut the boards with a jigsaw so I bought this Irwin saw. Brilliant, smooth cutting giving a crisp finish and it stayed sharp all the way through the job - no mean result when cutting oak. Best hand saw I've had, despite the somewhat strange shape. Worth the extra money for the finish it delivers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A different handfull of saw Looking different from the outset it takes a little getting used to, angles are great using the long slot for the 90 and the top of the blade for the 45. very sharp, have blood on work to prove, great saw all round and bought a spare too whilst on offer. reliability is a little hard to say yet as only had it a few days, but feels solid enough with a great grip

Need a hand saw to cut through nails in fencing panels

Am taking down some fencing panels to repair. they are nailed to wooden posts. Don't want to increase the damage so cutting through the nails would seem to be the answer. This is helping a friend out so don't want to buy a power tool.
