Good waterproof jacket
Quality fabric, seems robust and is very comfortable and cool (no sweaty pits when working in the rain as lets the steam out). Only criticism is it's expensive. Only bought this product as was in an emergency situation and needed breathable waterproof jacket immediately. There are alternatives with the same quality and features elsewhere for £30 but I am still happy with this jacket and would recommend it, especially if it is on offer for nearer the £30 mark.

I bought the Asgard whilst it was on offer with the inner quilted jacket. Together they are an awesome combo for cold wintry weather. Having read the reviews before purchasing I'd had the heads up that the listed chest sizes were a work of fiction. I am a 38" chest medium build without much excess to me. I ordered the Asgard in 50" chest and it fits really well. If anything the arms could do with being 2 cm longer when the arms are fully outstretched, but since I rarely find myself in that position it's a minor issue but worth keeping in mind when buying.
The cuffs have a rubberised grip strip which has velcro on the underside and is good for adjusting the jacket cuffs when hands are wet or you are wearing gloves. The front zip is protected by a storm cuff which is a feature on motorcycle gear and works well in rain. The pockets have rubber strips over the zip to keep the water out but I've yet to see how well these work or how well they will wear over time. The hood is unobtrusive and you can unzip it if needs be. Shame that the hood doesn't roll up into a slot around the neck but at £45 for both the jacket and inner liner I have no real issue about that. There are pockets on the inside for mobile phones, wallets etc as well as on the inner quilted lining jacket if you buy that to go with the Asgard.
Other reviewers say that the waterproofing capability is good. I have yet to be rained on so cannot comment. Jackets tend to lose their waterproofing over a short period, especially after a session in the washing machine. A can of Fabsil soon sorts that out but I'll be interested to see if the Asgard retains its water repellency property or joins the other offerings in due course.

Great outer jacket
Got this to wear whilst out and about, inc on site. I got with the quilted lining jacket which when combined are fantastic, they can be worn together or split. Not really tested In wet weather but it looks the part. I would definitely say to get the next size up from what you are or try on in the shop, the sizings are all a size below. Overall a great jacket/coat.
