Hozelock 50m Starter Hose
Worth the money
Worth the money, but don't expect it to be kink free - it kinks at the slightest twist. Fortunately, it then straightens easily, but only time will tell if this is weakening the fabric of the hose. Firm enough to make a positive fitting on to a coupling, it's worth checking it for kinks before turning the water pressure up.
Bought for my allotment, so hopefully it will last the distance ;-)

Does The job!
A good basic hose which does exactly what it should, food value for a 'branded' product.

Not really kink free
I pressurised the hose by feeding water into it with an auto-stop end on the far end, while winding it onto a through-feed hose reel.
Despite the internal pressure, I did have to undo several kinks. I was replacing a previous hose which had kinked too easily and having got brittle over time was starting to leak at kink points, so I was a bit disappointed to discover that this product was not as kink resistant as the name suggests. It has a generous guarantee period so I am optimistic that it might be durable, but time will tell.

It may have Hozelock brand name but it is very inferior to older hose manufactured by them. It kinks very easily, even when pressurised and if it wasn't for the lines prointed on it you would never know where the twists were.
