Powerful, light, adjustable torque, and the light is not just a gimmick. The best drill driver I have used to date.

Nice to buy something that actually does what it says. Smaller than previous cordless screwdrivers I've owned, and much lighter, this has been very usefull for more delicate jobs where the old ones have been too clumsy...that's not to say this is less robust or powerfull, I've just used this to bulid a shed from scratch, no problems at all......excellent product.

This really is a great bit of kit. It comes with a professional 3 year warranty, two batteries, charger, bit and case. Screwfix have the best price I could find at £99
I've been putting off buying a cordless screwdriver for about a year - despite having to make do on about a dozen occasions.
I borrowed one from mate and had it for a week before I bought my own. I gave it a bit of a road test. This is what I found when I compared it to what I would otherwise use...
DRYWALL SCREWDRIVER - for all new build and most reboarding I liked this much better than a drywall screwdriver. It's smaller, lighter, drives 250+ 38mmx3.5 screws on a single battery and all screws were sunk correctly.
Can it completely replace a drywall screwdriver? - NO. A drywall screwdriver is depth sensitive whilst this is torque sensitive. In really hard, knotty joists it will drive the screw short if you hit a knot.
DRILL/DRIVER - I have a really good DeWalt Drill driver but I only get as accurate torque driving on low speed. This beats a drill/driver hands down. Most people will have this as well as a drill/driver so productivity goes right up. e.g. Battens. Drill the holes with the drill and drive in the screws with this. You don't need to do Hammer On/Torque Off, drill holes, Hammer off/Torque back to the previous setting, drive screws, etc. Can't be good for the drill either.
Can you drill with this? - YES. It's fine drilling pilot holes, countersinking and even using flat bits providing they're sharp.
IMPACT DRIVERS - They just don't have the same torque control as this, but they can drive much larger screws. Having said that, I managed to drive some M8 coachscrews (with pilot hole) using a socket adapter with this screwdriver and I didn't feel it was struggling.
OTHER CORDLESS SCREWDRIVERS - I borrowed a comparable DeWalt, albeit for only half an hour, but this one is so much nicer. It's much better balanced. I also like the way that if you squeeze the handle gently the light comes on - even though the bit isn't turning. Hitachi have a great reputation for their batteries and this no different. They last really well and an LED comes on when it's time to change battery. I had looked at the Bosch but hated the feel.
I tried hard to find something not to like but the best I could come up with is the case could be smaller.
