Bought this to replace the stick-on foam which was around the door, it is very easy to fit and adjustable, I staggered the rubber joint by sliding one out a few inches then sliding the next into the moulding it has stopped the draught and also the rain from coming in so I say this is a truly fantastic item and exceptional value for money as it will not only save my energy bill but also in cleaning up when the rain came in.

Read what it says on the tin
It's my fault that I bought the wrong item I should have been more diligent by carefully reading the description : Pack of 5, I expected it to be as the Stormguard description, 3 pieces.
Please note the ratings I have given are as neutral as I can get without actually installing this item.
When I went to pick this up I was surprised when the assistant brought it out, I said it should be a lot longer than that. She explained that the aluminium is in 5 pieces for ease of transport but the seals for long sides are single pieces folded over.
When I got home I studied the Stormguard catalogue and it definitely states 3 pieces. Without removing the packaging it didn't look like the seals were doubled over.
I decided I wanted the long sides to be single pieces so I took it back for a refund.
I found the 3 piece Stormguard pack nearby for £3 less so I bought it.

I have a badly fitting front door with a large gap around it.- 8 mm in places There was a huge draft into the house. I fitted this product and now the house is warm and comfortable and the noise from the front door is considerably reduced. I can't rate the reliability as it has only been in a few days. I found in some cases the rubber seal slid out of the aluminium strip. This was easily fixed by screwing one of the small screws up into the aluminium channel into which the rubber strip slides. Ensure you screw through the rubber by pulling it towards the screw.
