Rated 1 out of 5 by Not square! All the brackets in the pack were about 3 degrees off 90. I did not have a vice or time to get them square. Wasted my time as I had to go back and change for better quality. Got prouct code 71671 backets, and these did the job perfectly. 21 Aug 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great brackets I found these brackets on Screwfix as I needed something strong enough to hold up a couple of substantial pelmets. They proved to be totally up to the job and I needed less brackets than I thought due to their strength. There was no flex in the bracket when loaded and they are doing the required job perfectly. There are plenty of fixing holes in both parts of the bracket, so no fixing problems at all. Overall, if you want a strong bracket these are perfect for you. 8 Aug 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by 2013 Excellent, 2016 Rubbish Bought a pack of these in 2013 and have just used them to hang some big cupboards on the wall. The 2013 batch were all identical, perfect 90 degree bends and each side was an exact match for the next one so I could confidently mark out with one and all would fit the same. The small holes are 5mm and by coincidence matched the holes in the cupboards, so I used euro screws. The finished job was perfect, so I thought I would have some more of these. Bought another pack and found they were not identical, not a perfect 90 degrees, not perfectly symmetrical, so would be problem to use for cabinet work. Took them back and got a refund. Disappointing. 4 Aug 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good solid brackets Used a few of these to secure some 4" x 2" timber to a wooden floor to form a base for a shower tray. They do provide a really solid fixing and the multiple holes give you plenty of options to get yer screws or bolt in. A bit pricey I think, compared to the other bracket options available from screwfix, but other than that they are a very good choice 15 Jul 2016

Measured with a digital calliper the central holes are 11mm and the other holes 5mm.

So ideally you would use a 10mm bolt and 4mm screws. I've used left over 8mm bolts fine though as the washer covers the hole.
