Rated 4 out of 5 by Good solid brackets Used a few of these to secure some 4" x 2" timber to a wooden floor to form a base for a shower tray. They do provide a really solid fixing and the multiple holes give you plenty of options to get yer screws or bolt in. A bit pricey I think, compared to the other bracket options available from screwfix, but other than that they are a very good choice 15 Jul 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Really sturdy Used for a garden project and found them very sturdy. Good quality and hope they will last long. Only slight downside is that they're not quite 90° but no big deal. 6 Jul 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Strong but discreet Found these to be just the job for a strong fencing project. Good choice of fixing holes for bolts and screws. I'll certainly keep a few of these to hand for future jobs requiring a rigid right angle. 7 Jun 2016

Answer:
Measured with a digital calliper the central holes are 11mm and the other holes 5mm.

So ideally you would use a 10mm bolt and 4mm screws. I've used left over 8mm bolts fine though as the washer covers the hole.
