This scraper did a superb job. Saved so much time. I had been spending ages burning back layers of paint with a hot air gun. I bought this scraper and it just scraped off about five layers of paint right back to the wood without any heating at all. It will scrape right into the corners and right up to the glass on window frames. It has done an awfull lot of paint and varnish scraping and I am still on the first edge of the blade.

Started to strip back the varnish on Grandad's mobile home and started with a heatgun and old triagular scraper. What a slow job with the occasional burn from the heatgun.
A passing neighbour recommended this scraper so I went and got one. What a difference, no heatgun needed and it sliced through the varnish easily. The wife leant a hand and even she found it easy.
Nice chunky handle so gripping wasn't as tiring and I found that if I couldn't get in the corners I just had to loosen the screw holding the blade to slide it out more on one side, re-tighten it, problem solved.

Don't waste your money on cheaper versions just buy this one.
Good solid comfortable handle, sharp and strong.
Only thing that lets it down slightly is that there is no protective cover for the blade when it's in your tool bag. I've made on to fit.

Bought to strip a staircase and skirting, managed to almost get the whole job done on one edge of this tool, then the blade snapped in half (death by over use maybe)
Found it easier to apply heat with heat gun on lowest setting which took it clean to the wood.
Replacement blades aren't cheap, but worth every penny. Off to purchase a spare blade or 2 now.
