I got this for some light garden work that a friend was doing,it has done a good job so far with nothing falling off.If you have a lot of work to do or need to use it long term maybe pick a more well known brand but for pottering around and light work ,for the price I may not be cheerful but I am satisfied.

Rated 1 out of 5 Poor Quality but cheap
In simple terms you get what you pay for, the saw works and cuts well, until it breaks! The choke lever came off mine within the first hour of working. The finish is poor and the plastic cheap, but then at this price what can you expect. It does the job, but I suspect that it will have a very limited life expectancy.
Probably best treated as a single use tool an alternative to hiring.

I use chainsaws quite frequently. Mine recently died of old age and I needed something at a cheap price to get a few jobs out of the way. I did hope this chainsaw would see me through with some light to moderate use for a short time until I had pulled a few more quid together to purchase one of the much more expensive and well known brands. I have little expectations of cheap machinery but on the odd occasion, some work well. I would expect any machine that's made for a purpose to carry out what it's made for to some extent. This machine didn't fulfill any great purpose and the purpose of this saw was less than ten minutes of cutting two and a half SOFTWOOD sleepers. Bits fell off around the pull, it doesn't prime or take in any fuel. What it did cut was actually really good but I prefer using a chainsaw with the engine running! It was a silly idea to buy it, knowing this was possible, even for light use but that doesn't change the fact that it doesn't work, even for DIY/home use is pointless. Don't waste your time and spend at least double on something else. Screwfix, I don't get it! You have the capacity and potential to supply much better machines competitively and have no problem selling. Why don't you?
