Rated 5 out of 5Â by CheshireDecorator Professional quality tool
As a decorator of over 30 years, and have used Hamilton perfection brushes for most of this time, they are some of the best bristle brushes on the market.
However, if these are not broken in properly after purchase, they will loose bristles for a time, but once it is past this stage, then the user will be rewarded with a brush that will give several years of constant use.
They can be used in Acrylic paints, but are best suited to use in oil paints.
All in all, they are a superb brush, that give a very good service life, if treated correctly from new.

Needed a brush quickly and as I was going to screwfix anyway ordered this to pick up at same time. Used the brush for gloss on window sill and got a great finish.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by direct too much bristle spead
If they made bristle bundles a little wider at the base of the brush, tapering to the 1 inch actual painting edge then the bristles wouldn't splay out so much and spoil accurate painting.
Even with this expensive brush you still get hairs dislodging and sticking to the painted surface.

Wish I had seen the other reviews before buying this brush. Very disappointed with the overall performance.
