The reviews of this item are positive - which is why I'm surprised how poor my one is.
The runners do not run at all smoothly; rather than gliding out, it clunks in and out. OK, it's a pretty cheap towel rail in the scheme of things, but that's exactly how it comes across - cheap.
I'm now wishing I'd spent a bit more and got something of better quality.
3* for reliability as I've not had it long enough to find out either way.
Converting it to overhead mounting is really not all that complicated to work out - you simply undo the single screw, rotate the bracket and screw it back in again. Hardly worthy of a manual.

I purchased this towel rail because of limited space in my kitchen, and I didn't like towels draped over the radiator. It's a neat unobtrusive towel rail fitting very nicely underneath my worktop. I could have done with some instructions though. My husband had to sit and figure out how to rotate the fitting so that we could fit it. Apart from that small niggle a very good and inexpensive product - far better than those horrible plastic ones.

I fitted this unit yesterday. It is smooth running and solidly built. It does the job it was intended for and it does it well. I would recommend this towel rail over the one that it replaced from a well known DIY store which cost more and was "wobbly" in its operation.

I have wanted a new kitchen towel rail for ages. I am not disappointed.
It was easy to fix and looks tidy. Nice one.
