Rated 4 out of 5 by from It REALLY sticks!! I bought the Gorilla tape to stick to the back of my light pelmet so that my LED strip light can then stick to the tape. It adhered exceptionally well to the MDF back of the pelmet and has kept my lights in place an absolute treat. I am now busy looking for things to stick!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't work well for me Despite this tape getting good reviews, I didn't like it, even though I use Gorilla glue for a lot of jobs and think it's excellent. This tape was used to try and hold down a Sky cable onto a brand new smooth plastic large diameter soil pipe leading from upstairs to the ground floor. I only used less than a metre and it was awful. The tape kept coming off and would hang loose from the cable. I then wrapped it round and round the soil pipe but the first time it rained it came loose again. I then tried it on a potting shed I have just built to seal edges of acrylic panels on wood, where it again kept coming off, especially in heat. I changed to TRex tape and think it's much better than this stuff.

Will Gorilla Tape stick to wet tarred (asphalt) surfaces, I intend to use this for marking a running race and need something that won't come off a wet road. Normal Duct Tape doesn't work for this purpose?

Asked by: Runningman67
Gorilla Tape is the strongest Duct Cloth Tape in the UK and has 3 x the amount of adhesive versus normal duct tapes. Although this is not an application we have tested, we believe it will adhere to asphalt surfaces and the tape is weatherproof and UV proof. We have a range of black, white & silver tapes in various sizes. We suggest purchasing a single tape pack to test prior to purchasing a larger amount of Tape.
