Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorilla time saver I used the Gorilla glue to secure wooden batons onto a tilled bathroom floor for securing a toilet too. This saved time on drilling into very hard floor tiles. The cistern is mounted to the wall, so it was only to made the bowel steady. The glue is easy to apply, apply it to face, for me the wood, then wet the other surface, for me the tiles. Bring the two together and within two hrs it is firmly set in place. As noted by other just watch the foam squeeze out. The glue expands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good glue but a bit pricey A bit expensive but performs well. Good product though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expensive gorilla glue I quite like gorilla glue for some applications, beware though, gap filling is a sort of foam not a solid material. I bought this 250 ml size product thinking I would be getting 500ml at the price, as available elsewhere, sad as normally good prices at Screwfix.

Can I secure screws in an oven

I have a handle on the outside of the oven and the screw fits to it from inside, but the thread has gone on the handle and want to use the glue to secure the screw and plate of the handle to the outside of the oven. Will this work?
Asked by: Anonymous
Thank you for your interest in our products. We have assumed your oven door is glass, and that your handle is plastic. Unfortunately we could not recommend Gorilla Glue on this occasion, as you are adhering plastic under continuous heat which is problematic. We would normally recommend Gorilla Epoxy for this type of application.

Is this glue flexible? IE can it be used for sticking soles to trainers?

Asked by: DS99
Gorilla Glue has a small degree of flexibility and is 100% waterproof so can be used in this application (in fact I did the same myself this week with my football trainers). Please be aware not to use too much Gorilla Glue as it expands to 3 x size. Once applied I used Gorilla Tape to secure the trainers & sole whilst the glue was bonding, wiped away any excess before drying and allowed 24 hours to give the strongest bond possible.

will this glue stick a rubber trim onto a metal car door

Asked by: Anonymous
Gorilla Glue will be suitable for this application, as it will stick a purely rubber trim onto a metal car door. However if the rubber trim is a mix of rubber and plastic, we would recommend our Gorilla Epoxy product.

I need to fix a large laminated map to a sheet of foamcore board, would Gorilla glue be a good choice

Asked by: Tonski

I need to fix about 1m of finger trunking to a glass wall. Is this going to be strong enough to do the job.

Asked by: Paul446
If you are using metal finger trunking attached to a glass wall, yes the Gorilla Glue should be suitable for this purpose. However be aware Gorilla Glue expands and will dry to a sandy colour. If you are using common plastic trunking, we would recommend our Gorilla Epoxy product or a similar proprietary Epoxy product. Please note the Gorilla Epoxy is also Crystal Clear, which may also be of consideration when attaching to a glass wall.

will this product stick metal to metal

Asked by: johnf618

Would this glue be suitable to stick a rear view mirror back to the windscreen?

Asked by: Ansar
From the information supplied, we have assumed that you wish to bond plastic direct to glass. We would not recommend Gorilla Glue for this particular application. There are however a number of proprietary adhesives designed specifically for this purpose available, and failing that option only, we would then suggest an Epoxy product may be more suitable. I am sorry we could not be of more help on this occasion.

Can I glue pvc guttering with Gorilla glue

pvc gutter need to fit at an angle. Will the glue succeed

Unfortunately the Gorilla Glue product will not be suitable for application on this particular plastic substrate. In this example, we would recommend our Gorilla Epoxy product.
