Rated 4 out of 5 by As Mitre Mate Gorillas Great! For kitchen fitters modern high gloss and other perfect finish cornice and pelmet trims are a pain. The modern (instant) solution to sticking mitres is a form of superglue and hardener spray, glue applied to one side and hardener aerosol sprayed on the other. When the superglue and hardener are brought together they harden instantly like rock. This is a "one shot" opportunity to get it aligned perfectly. GORILLA GLUE uses water to cure/harden the glue (sparingly glue one half, dampen the other half with a sponge) this allows 10 to 15 mins to get all perfectly positioned and clamped down to a flat surface while setting - BRILLIANT - no more Mitre Mate for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 6 Feb 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing Providing you read the instructions this stuff is FANTASTIC. You don't need much and it's REALLY strong! You'll need a small dish with some water, as one side of the joint needs to be dampened, and a way to hold the parts secure while it cures then get stuck in! 29 Dec 2015

I have a handle on the outside of the oven and the screw fits to it from inside, but the thread has gone on the handle and want to use the glue to secure the screw and plate of the handle to the outside of the oven. Will this work?

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in our products. We have assumed your oven door is glass, and that your handle is plastic. Unfortunately we could not recommend Gorilla Glue on this occasion, as you are adhering plastic under continuous heat which is problematic. We would normally recommend Gorilla Epoxy for this type of application.

Answer:
Unfortunately we cannot recommend Gorilla Glue for this particular application.
The adhesion of plastic to glass is difficult to achieve (normally leading to the use of an Epoxy type product) but coupled with the high heat levels within an oven and the flexibility of the glass under heat (cooling down / warming up) this adds to the complexity and probably explains the issues you have experienced with other glues. We would suggest you contact the Oven Manufacturer direct and request details of the specialist Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) glue used to adhere the clips in manufacture, which may be available to purchase.

Answer:
Gorilla Glue is waterproof when dry, however it dries to a golden yellow colour which would make it difficult to paint effectively into a hairline crack.
We would recommend our new Gorilla Grab Adhesive which is just being launched in the UK and can be applied in wet environments and dries to a white finish. It is applied using a Cartridge Gun just like conventional Sealants, and is flexible so that it can cope with extremes of temperature.
1. Ensure that the crack/s is completely dry before application (perhaps by using a hair dryer)
2. Application could either be by means of a bead on top of the crack or by using an implement such as a tongue depressor to push the adhesive into the cracks
3. Please ensure that the Grab Adhesive is allowed to fully cure before using the sink (24 hours)

Answer:
Although our product is generally suitable for metal and glass, we would recommend a proprietary Epoxy type product for this particular application & room use, such as Gorilla Epoxy.

Answer:
If you are using metal finger trunking attached to a glass wall, yes the Gorilla Glue should be suitable for this purpose. However be aware Gorilla Glue expands and will dry to a sandy colour. If you are using common plastic trunking, we would recommend our Gorilla Epoxy product or a similar proprietary Epoxy product. Please note the Gorilla Epoxy is also Crystal Clear, which may also be of consideration when attaching to a glass wall.
