Rated 1 out of 5 by Not the best quality tool! I bought this thinking it does what I want at a reasonable price, but on opening the box I am dissapointed. It's features match the photo, but it has a very poor finish and appearance. The basic casting is rough, but covered in dark grey gloss paint. The jaws are poorly machined and don't meet fully and squarely. The main threaded screw sticks every turn, so the vice vice is not smooth in operation. The swivel locking bar works ok, but is a bit fiddly. Basicaly, if I'd had the chance to see before I buy, I would not have bought it. Based on other buyers reviews, maybe some vices are of better quality than others, because no one would give 5 stars to what I have just bought. 11 Jul 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not my best purchase Judging by all the other reviews I wonder if I received the right product. Whilst in almost all respects the vice is fit for purpose, I found it to be poorly and inaccurately cast. The rotate mechanism leaves it tilted. The jaws do not close properly and have a gap at the top so small objects are not secure. Even the winding bar is distorted. The product looks as if it missed the machining process. Disappointed with otherwise good experiences at Screwfix. 25 Jun 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Does what I need All locks work well and smoothly so far and the swivel base is a nice feature 7 Jun 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by poor quality tool This is a rough piece of kit. The vice jaws are curved and the main vice thread and screw run off at an angle which results in the end of screw cotter pin fouling as the jaws are extended. The swivel lock mechanism has the effect of angling one end of the vice so that it is not level with the work bench when tightened. Give this one a miss! 16 May 2016
