Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent Pipe Wrench Looks well made and solid. Jaws initially a little tight to adjust but ok after a couple of uses. Bought to undo a 6cm nut and seemed to be cheapest tool with large enough jaw opening which isn't going to break after a couple of years. It is also supplied packaged in a cardboard box which is better than just a plastic wrapper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't grumble for the price Bought this a few days ago as an emergency buy. The quality is a lot better than i expected, and it carried out a pretty tasking job very well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well Needed this in a hurry to use in conjunction with my existing long-serving one - to get a very stubborn & heavily corroded central-heating pump out from a very tight corner in an airing cupboard. It was very easy to use (ie. adjusting & locking onto the large nut) & it gripped very well to do its job & help solve the problem.

Looking at the spec for an 18" stillson what does it mean when it states max jaw opening 51mm and then it says max jaw opening (band) 51-69mmm. What does this mean?

Asked by: RachGfA
Hello, The 'band' measurement on tools such as the Forge Steel Wrench refers to our website categorising system, therefore it is simply referring to the fact that the maximum opening of this particular wrench is 51mm which falls in to the search category of 51mm to 69mm maximum opening wrenches.
