Rated 2 out of 5 by Sort of ok for the price. There is a lot of play in the lead screw and jaw, the finish is poor with rough edges, however, purchased for use on my welding table and did not want to pay a lot for a good one due to welding splashes etc. so for this purpose, it will be fine. If I had purchased for my drill press or milling machine, I would have been disappointed. 10 May 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by It works Not bad for the price. A little sharp around the edges and the sliding jaw could do with being a little bit smoother to close. Not bad though.. 2 Mar 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Drill Press Vice A good basic product at reasonable price. Excellent value 29 Oct 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by useful drill press vice Ideal; as I only occasionally need one I couldn't justify a normally-priced one. This is fine, I haven't noticed excessive slop or poor finish as some reviewers, so maybe their quality is variable. Mounting slots don't line up well for my old Draper bench drill, but haven't found managing that difficult. 18 Sep 2015

Hi makesshavings,
It would appear that a decimal point was missed out and the item weighs 2.5kg. The slots on the sides measure about 13mm wide x 68mm long and could accept up to a M12 bolt. Width of around 100mm and length 125mm

Answer:
Hi Abfab,

Slots on the sides measure about 13mm wide x 68mm long and anything up to a M12 bolt should be ok. Just be careful when bolting the product down as it is cast iron it can be brittle.
