Rated 1 out of 5 by from Over-priced junk Not fit for purpose, in fact pretty close to garbage. Thes screws don't self start which increases the time required. These are supposed to screw into joists, cos that's what floorboards rest on, so they need to be able to take the torque of screwing into decent timber. The usual problem with cross head screws of any type, philips, pozi-drive, pro-drive is that they are designed to torque out above a certain torque, so you can't drive them in. Worse still you can't get them out, the heads will not take the torque and chew up. In contrast, some standard decking screws I had were far better. My assessment is these are over-priced, fancy coloured junk.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Product Used these screws to fix new floor boards in my bathroom. Great product and not one bad screw. They can be removed but the heads wear quickly. Overall I would thourghly recommend

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Floorboard screws Usual great service, order on line, drive to store , collect goods, Screws did what it said on the website. I used them on early 1900's floorboards, and needed to countersink the heads, as the wood was to hard to do it automatically as described. Hopefully the nice creakfree boards will stay that way' only time will tell.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just ok Not sure if I got a dud box looking at other reviews but I found that they didn't get started easily without a pilot hole and would have preferred a head with a larger diameter.

suitable for traditional floor boards

I want to screw down all of the current floor boards because they squeak. Are these the right screws for this as this refers to them being right for sheet wood.
