Rated 4 out of 5 by Great value for money I bought this product for a friend, tried it and decided to keep it. Will have to get another, 10 Mar 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Does what it says on Bought this from my local Screwfix in Lymington where I was in and then out with my purchase in less that 5 mins. Brilliant. This Security light was bought to replace a useless Battery operated one and the easy and simplicity of fitting this light was fantastic. From opening the box, fitting the bulb, connecting the wiring, screwing the light to the wall bracket took around 40 minutes. Easy. The light output is great and the different timing adjustments simplicity itself. Money well spent. 10 Feb 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very good Only had this a week but it replaced an old larger light. Easy to fit, great price, good light output and sensitivity controls work well. Recommended. 2 Feb 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Poor light Installed easily, but only lasted a day before staying on permantly. Not worth running around to take back at this price. 16 Jan 2016

Hello,
This PIR Photocell can be hard wired or can be fixed to a 13Amp plug, should seek advice from a qualified electrician.

Answer:
Hi Brizzie,

This product is only PIR and wont be able to be overrode in this way, to achieve what you are looking for you will need a floodlight without PIR and a standalone PIR sensor that has manual override.

Thank you for using Q and A.

Answer:
It may be being triggered by wildlife passing through. Small rodents will trigger the sensor including foxes and badgers. During a cold spell the sensor will appear to be more sensitive because of the greater temperature differential between the ambient temperature and the warmth of the object detected. Objects moving around during windy weather like trees and shrubs will also trigger the sensor.

Answer:
Sorry I cannot help as I have tried absolutely everything with all adjustments and mine still does the same as yours. Waste of money and very annoying. I took it apart to check on connections but all OK. May be a dry joint somewhere but cannot find it.

I have an older version of this motion sensor light (in black) and it has three buttons under the light for adjustment to timing, darkness, etc. Can you tell me how the adjustments work?
