Once you get the hang of it, these are easy to fit. But as always the "instructions" make it look easier to fit than it is.
The instructions don't mention that house roofs over hang the gutter so its a little fiddly to get the guards in, but as I say above once you get the hang of it its not too bad.
I found that the easiest way to fit these is to, naturally, start at one end of the gutter - I found the left easiest. Put the guards in with the connecting clips to the left (possibly it doesn't matter but it worked for me). Then work across. If at the end you need to trim a guard use a strong set of scissors (I used nursing scissors - they cut most things).
A small flat blade screwdriver is also useful to help lever the guard into the gutter - though they are reasonably pliable to do this with your hands.
I don't think these will catch all the rubbish off the roof, but should catch the big bits anyway.

Very easy to fit (and cut for those awkward items that sometimes protrude into the gutters). Reasonably priced too...so I fitted 60 metres around the full house and conservatory!
It would be nice if they made 45 degree mesh panels for conservatory facetted corners though. That would save some cutting/fitting time.
Other plastic colours would also be good.
The coming Autumn will prove just how effective they are....
