Fischer Nylon Hammerfix 6 x 80mm Pack of 50
Hammered and fixed
These hammer-in fixing are excellent, and worked very well for holding up a set of shelves against a wall which has about an inch of plaster, an air gap and then brickwork.

Easy and secure fixings
Have used these before and know they're good. Price and speed of delivery just complete the picture.

nice, ease and secure
I have used these to go into breeze block/mortar when putting up 12mm concrete board. I'm happy to say that the fixings are holding as they should and were a doddle to install. The weight loading on them at the moment is 40kg per sqm (natural stone tiles# and there is no sign of them letting go.
I did experiment on putting these into compressed straw walls #1980s home, "economical build"# and they seemed to work. The only downside of the straw walls #which I didn't foresee# with these fixings is that when the screws splay out it not only pushes the straw out but further in so if you are on the limit of the thickness of the walls it will crack the opposite side #trust me on that as I was fitting 70mm length normal screws and 60mm hammer in fixings#

This fixing is extremely easy to use, I used it on my 'dot & dab' internal walls (plasterboard -gap- block) to put up shelving. just drill an appropriately sized hole, push in the plug, hammer the fixing through the object into the plug and ensure its in all the way. Simple, quick and, so far, secure. Now have the confidence to put up heavier items.
