Picked up a pair of these after reading the decent reviews. The pair I picked up were atrocious. There was far far too much lateral movement and the two end sections of the jaws were around 8mm out of alignment. So this was returned as faulty and another pair were ordered in. These too have this lateral movement, not as bad as the first pair, but for the price they should have been much better. Whether this is a faulty batch or very poor engineering I do not know, but I will look elsewhere for something that might last a while.
For those who still persist in buying some of these then yes you do need big hands, but the hand grips do come closer together when the jaws are set at a bigger size.
If these were found in a bargain bucket for a fiver I would buy them. But not at this price.

What you would expect.
Works well , I would of liked to see the jaws open slightly more. But well made seems very durable.

Not so Fat, Max
Bought these as I needed something to change a central heating pump and my tools were 150 miles away.
They are essentially well made - with very comfortable handles, but have one major flaw. Although they supposedly open to 75mm ( I have not checked this), they are incapable of gripping nuts much over 46mm a.f. well as the back of the jaws prevent the points of the hex fitting correctly into the jaw recesses. This means grip is seriously reduced. The water pump nuts measured 52mm incidentally.
The pliers did do the job, just.

Widest opening jaws of comparable pliers, at a reasonable price, and very well made. Push button lock to adjust the jaw settings, that makes them so much easier to use single handed in an awkward position. Excellent.
