Economical solutionThis was an economical solution to replace a faulty smaller 12 ltr expansion vessel in my Oil Central Heating Boiler. I purchased the larger 25 ltr vessel as requested by my service engineer and along with the bracket and WRAS hoses I was able to comfortably install the vessel on the wall external to boiler. This gave improved expansion allowance to the heating system and much cheaper option than buying a replacement vessel from the boiler manufacturer.
The Height is- 490mm
The Diameter is- 280mm
Thanks for using Q&A

I need to possibly replace a faulty expansion vessel
but need to know if this is a suitable replacement
your advice would be welcome. 9oh I need to know in next 12 hours before engineer arrives!)

There is no reason why this would not be suitable but ensure you check with the engineer before fitting.
