Just bought this saw after a lot of research. Looked at all options including Bosch and Makita where I could have paid £500+. The Rage 3 DB was my choice as it can cut a range of different materials and on first impressions seems to be very versatile. Initial concerns are that it lacks accuracy and you have to carefully set up the blade to for 90 deg cuts. I spent some time adjusting the blade to cut true. It lacks the precision of some competitors and some of the fit an finish could be more precise. Overall good value for money.

Have used it to make flower boxes with intricate mitres.
I attach mine to a bench and have made stops to allow me to cut decking to size.
Makes repeat cutting a piece of cake, better than a circular.
Would thoroughly recommend this saw to anyone thinking of buying one.
If you are cutting more than one piece of timber or decking, connect your vacuum to the dust extraction system as the bag fills quickly.

Only a DIYer but always found Evolution tools very good . Plus ability to cut nails and wood a real bonus . Cannot give a pro view but this tool is everything I will want and need . Will purchase the tile blade which will make it a brilliant all rounder for my needs .

I bought this as a feature rich option that will get occasion use, hence I was looking for value. The flexibility to cut several material types and functionaliity of double bevel etc, made this saw an obvious choice.
Things to look out for:
- Check setup before cutting as there is no bevel lock.
- Blade rotation is anti-clockwise, so if you are looking for a clean timber cut, the workpiece needs flipping over, e.g. finished flooring.
- Blade rotation direction can cause the workpiece to lift if not held firmly or clamped.
