Erbauer ERI349SDS 4.6kg 2.6Ah Li-Ion Cordless SDS Plus Drill 18V
DO NO BUY !
I was extremely disappointed with this drill which has poor drilling performance and real lack of power compared with other makes.
Also you cannot get replacement batteries as they are unavailable for this model which i find pretty shocking, i will be getting a refund.

I purchased this drill via my company for occasional professional use.
My job requires me to occassionally fix electrical equipment to walls ,of all types of brick contruction, and drill holes etc for running low voltage cables.
So far I have no complaints and the drill has managed to do all that has been asked of it.
If I was clipping metres and metres of cable along a wall -daily-i would probably choose or recommend an alternative product .
If you are looking for something of good value +suitable for small scale pro works or diy this is the one.

I have a few of the Erbauer Li-Ion tools, all of which I've been happy with, so assumed this would be a good addition. I was wrong!
I've wanted a cordless SDS drill to use in those awkward places. But I found this drill just didn't seem to have much oomph. Thinking that it might be a faulty unit, I sent it back for a replacement which behaved in the same way. It simply doesn't have enough power. I also bought Erbauer's 24V cordless but very quickly consigned that to my "don't use" bin. I'm back to using corded SDS drills.
The battery, even though it looks to be the same design and have the same power-rating etc, wasn't compatible with the other Li-Ion tools because the contacts are different - why?

Goodt value for money
Bought this after borrowing a mates makita LXT. Found it to perform just as good, installed 12 backboxes without any problem,(did use box cutter, into block wall). Hammer action felt a little under powered, but still drilled 20mm hole through external wall with ease (just took a little longer). Charge lasted quite well, and didn't take the full hour quoted. It seems to be quite well made, not too heavy although I don't think I would like to hold it over my head all day. In general day to day use it does the job without problem and the handle help a lot. Gripes, The case doesn't have any room to store drill dits, it wouldn't have taken much to have designed the case to carry bits, especially long ones. Two year guarantee, so time will tell.
