Rated 4 out of 5 by Much improved product Bought same saw 10 years ago, but this version more solid altogether, especially the blade guard. Needed to reset the bevel zero as per instructions. Don't think old one had adjustments. Only bother setting up on Bosch saw table was needing to cut front mounting bolts to clear mitre swing., but ready to run now. No reliability data yet, but hope laser lasts longer than last one. Also not sure if old 255 blade will actually fit in guard and instructions definitely say 254 max! Using on extension for hip roof. 4 Dec 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Erbauer ERB610MSW Used the saw for the first time yesterday, after my old macallister`s drive motor cog shattered, im really impressed. the pre set 90 degree angle locks off at a true 90 degrees when checked with a set square. The motor is powerful (it actually rises up with the torque when you press the trigger) some nice features like the rear carrying handle, length stop. the only down side is like a previous reviewer says, the dust collection bag is a joke. hope this helps. work safely................... 20 Sep 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by poor build quality I was very excited when I bought this saw as for the money you get great features for a great price. Saw 1; opened it up and the rubber feet were missing. Replaced Saw 2; saw worked well cutting very accurately, laser clogged up too easily for me. Bearing went and would grind when adjusting the angle. Replaced Saw 3; saw worked well, had doubts about accuracy, laser packed in then the bearing went again. Couldn't colour a stale aight cut 100% true! Returned and upgraded to the Dewalt XPS DWS780, it's a class above but expensive, didn't want to spend that kind of money but I thought I'd found a cheaper alternative that would do the job. Disappointing. 22 Aug 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good entry level double bevel My old saw gave up on me at 3 o clock I ordered this new one at 5-15 and it was delivered to me the next morning at 9-15, you can't get better than that time off the job was minimal. The saw is pwerful, easy to control and has lots of clever features my old saw hadn't. I am left handed and this is so much easier to use than my old one. The only negative I have found at the moment is the laser compartment fills up with saw dust and obscures the beam. 26 Jun 2015
