Rated 4 out of 5 by from Watch the spindle bolt! Had this saw for over a year now (I think I actually have an older model but my order history tells me it's this one) I finally changed the blade for some fine work recently and the thing that jumped out at me straight away was that the blade retaining bolt is a regular right handed thread. On all other rotary tools I've had, this bolt is reverse so it doesn't come loose when the machine runs. Make sure you tighten it up really tight or it will come loose while you're cutting, did to me this morning! Other than that, it's a great saw, hasn't let me down other than that one thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent piece of kit Finally replaced an ancient power saw. Was making a decking step - not a major project, but still needed many accurate cuts, including longitudinal cuts in some meaty bearers. The new saw did not disappoint! It is sturdy, has easy to follow instructions and cut perfectly. Slightly heavy, but probably no bad thing. Decent bag too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good budget saw Nice saw, cuts well. I've not given it lots of use, but what I have done has been fine. Lead is a bit short for 8ft sheets, need have the plug in the middle of the sheet to make it across in one go.

Remote

I bought this tool and table to attach saw to the table; I have one hand under the table turning it on. Is there an accessory that could allow the saw work remotely?

Can you set the depth for this saw?

Asked by: CAC20
Hello CAC20. DEPTH of cut adjustment, Lift the depth adjustment lever and raise the saw body away from the base plate. Set the depth which you require and push the lever down to lock depth adjustment. Always add 3mm to your depth of cut so the blade can cut through the material your cutting. Thank you for using Q&A, [BH].

How Do You Change The Blade ?

Just bought one of these and wanted to change the standard 24T blade to a 40T one before I start using it. However, I can't get the blade out of the guard / cover as its too narrow to allow the blade's centre hole to clear the spindle. Is the spindle meant to retract ? The instructions don't show any pictures for getting the blade over the spindle.
Asked by: Galej
Hi Galej, Unfortunately all we would be able to suggest would be what is in the manual. Thank you for using Q and A.
