Erbauer ERB372BJC 860W Biscuit Jointer 230-240V
Another Erbauer baragain
This is only the second Erbauer tool I've ever bought. The first was a circular saw with a cutting depth of 75mm, for which you'd have to spend a lot normally but I got the Erbauer one from Screwfix on sale. For a 'budget' tool the build quality is real good and the motor is strong.
I'd have to say the same for the biscuit cutter too. These tools are basically an angle grinder with a different head on the end. There's nothing fancy about them, they do a fairly simple job and that's that. So in this instance there's really no need to spend a coupla hundred quid on the Dewalt because the Erbauer is solid enough.
Maybe the motor will burn out in half the time but with the nature of cutting a biscuit slot there's never likely to be a huge load on it so my advice is go with this one, for trade or DIY alike. And spend your change on a new drill.

Erbauer ERB372BJC 860W Biscuit
Excellent bit of kit. I have made a sink wash stand out of ash using the above biscuit joint-er. The top is the best I have ever made with the aid of the above. Easy to set the depth of cut by the use of the indicated dial and accurate on setting the soul-plate angle and depth. Doing repeated cuts with ease and accuracy, ideal for making up work tops and other type of angled joints. Pleasure to use
