Erbauer ERB337TCB 750W Tile Saw 230V
Quality tile saw
Purchased this saw for a one of job using large 600 x 300mm tiles for the fire place surrounding a wood burning stove. An awkward enclosed space and thought the tile saw would make the job quicker and neater.
I was absolutely right, the saw performed beyond my expectations for the price and I wouldn't hesitate recommending it. Quick clean cuts as you would expect and also the ability to trim the tiles after the initial cut which I have had difficulty doing with cheaper less powerful cutters. The drain plug feature for cleaning up is superb.

robust tile saw
Cutting porcelain tiles was too much for my trusty plasplugs machine which finally gave up the ghost. I liked the fact that despite a small saw it never stalled and the cutting fence was easy to align.
Plus points: The water trough holds significantly more than my previous cutter so stays cleaner for longer meaning less cleaning required for the tiles.
The 750w motor copes well with 10mm porcelain/stone tiles
Minus points: The blade is quite thick so it takes a bigger bite out of the tiles than some of the smaller cutters.
The cutting guide needs lining up front and back so can take slightly longer to align.
The power button is underneath so quite difficult to access if you are cutting on the floor.
Overall I'm happy with the saw and would recommend.

Its a tile cutter
As the heading says its a tile cutter and it cuts tiles!
I bought this version as I have some heavy duty floor tiles to cut in the near future, so I decided to buy a larger cutter. if your just going to cut standard tiles I would personally opt for the smaller ones that are on the market.
The tiles I cut were 150 x 150 and it dealt with these with ease even cutting the smallest sliver from a tile.
The straight edge guide was great very easy to line up unlike others ive used in the past I didn't use the angle guide which seems to be for larger tiles and could be a little more robust as it seems quite flimsy and made from thin plastic.
The really big minus is the laser guide ( to be honest I didn't know it actually came with one) I did try to use it but it was useless, it attaches to the same piece of metal that acts as the rear disc guide, when I set the laser line up the rear guide was out of line and stopped the tile from passing through the blade, set the guide to the blade and the laser line is off centre. For reliability time will tell hence the three stars.
In all it is a good product more for the regular user than one to be sat in the garage until next time.
