Rated 5 out of 5 by Quality tile saw Purchased this saw for a one of job using large 600 x 300mm tiles for the fire place surrounding a wood burning stove. An awkward enclosed space and thought the tile saw would make the job quicker and neater. I was absolutely right, the saw performed beyond my expectations for the price and I wouldn't hesitate recommending it. Quick clean cuts as you would expect and also the ability to trim the tiles after the initial cut which I have had difficulty doing with cheaper less powerful cutters. The drain plug feature for cleaning up is superb. 7 Jun 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Decent Tile Saw Bought this having seen previous reveiws. Its not as good on larger format tiles as my ancient machine which this replaced. The main issue is the parallel guide device which is a bit flimsy and fiddly to set. If you have to cut above 230mm then you need to extend the deck and immediately the parallel guide becomes a bit hit and miss. The supplied blade is OK but does not last long if you're cutting porcelain. After about 10 cuts it started chipping really badly. I've just ordered a fancy disc which hopefully will last much much longer. Other than those points it seems to be a good value machine for normal sized ceramic tiles... 27 Apr 2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great DIY tool To paraphrase does what it says on the tin, produces accurate cuts easily. Dont rely on the laser guide though its attached via a flimsy guard and moves in use. However the graduated guide is spot on when set up(simple). Joins a keen DIYer's arsenal of tools at a very reasonable price. 13 Apr 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Chipped tiles from the start Looked like a promising tile cutter. Decent aluminium bed, extendable, and water recovery. Unfortunately, chipped 9mm ceramic tiles from the first cut. Blade was either poor quality or spindle was out causing the blade to oscilate. Tried refitting the blade and other tiles but still the same results. Other reviews (which I read after I bought -opps) said the same. Have returned for refund. If you get one with a decent blade and straight spindle, it would be a decent cutter. 9 Apr 2016

Answer:
You would be able to cut tiles of that size if you support the tile as it moves off the table.

Hello Lily3po, thank you for your question.
choosing the correct blade for the job is vital when cutting tiles and ensure that you wear suitable personal protective equipment when using a tile saw. This Erbauer tile saw takes 180mm Diamond Blades, you'll need one suitable for glass. Our range of 180mm diamond blades can be found here > http://www.screwfix.com/c/tools/cut...
