Erbauer EBS2504SE Table Saw 250mm 230V
May take it back!
I bought this saw, based on the reviews, to replace an old Ferm cheaper model on which the rip fence clamp has broken. It is such a shame that they have spoilt a product that could be excellent. Overall build quality is excellent but there are a several faults with mine.
1) The table isn't flat! The panel to the left of the left guide slot falls away from level.
2) As mentioned by someone else, the guide slots have annoying tabs that prevent the use of home made panel cutting sleds.
3) The guide slots are wider than the rear guide-fence clamp. This means that if your required cutting width coincides with the slot the fence will not lock off, necessitating the addition of the supplied auxiliary fence.
4) The guide-fence clips, for storing it on the side of the machine, are worse than useless. As the fence is longer than the machine body it sticks out at one end or the other, or both, and is easy to knock off when walking round the machine.
I am seriously considering taking it back.

cant give reliability any higher as ive only had it a few days. Great saw for the money good solid fence took about an hour to setup from opening the box. the instructions dont mention that one leg is shorter than the other 3 lol, but all in all well worth the money :)

Good for general use, but.....
Just bought this table saw for home project/hobby work. In general it seems to be a very good table saw. It took me about 1 3/4 hours to build and set up. The previous reviews that said 15 mins, must have only fitted the blade, and that's it. By the time you fit the extension sides, the legs, fitted the blade and then set up for square cutting, it will definitely be over 1 1/2 hours.
One of the first jobs I wanted to do was make a cross-cut sled. Here came the first problem. The mitre slots/tracks have small lugs about 6" apart, for securing the mitre jig as it slides. this makes it very difficult to make runners for the sled. Don't know why they couldn't just make a standard T-slot.
Other than that, the extract system isn't brilliant. You still get covered in dust, even with a good vac.
Good for the price, but it will take you quite a bit of time and patience if you want to do anything other than basic cutting.

Cutting a groove
I needed a table which could cut a shallow groove. So the blade had to be adjustable to table height. Although the specification does not say so, tthe cutting edge of this machine can be lowered to below the table surface.
To use the machine this way, the riving blade must NOT be fitted.
