Rated 5 out of 5 by Great piece of kit This is A must have when tiling a bathroom absolutely brilliant I have never used one before and it was easy 13 Feb 2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointing Maybe I just got a dodgy bit, as the other Erbauer bits I have are great. Unfortunately, this one managed only 2 consecutive holes in 9mm ceramic floor tiles (with cool-down time between) before the heat of the third one warped the metal; it is now completely unusable and will be getting returned. Not really usable for dry cutting, but would be fine for wet. 31 Dec 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Floor tiles Used this to cut holes in floor tiles I used on the wall. It was advertised as being used wet or dry, but I found it got too hot cutting dry and caused the tiles to crack. I cut the rest wet and cut 8 holes with no problems. Make sure you buy a tile cutter guide to hold the drill bit steady and take time to keep the bit and tile cool. 15 Dec 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by easy work After wasting time with a number of other drill bits, i thought I'd try this. A little more expensive that some, but the time saved drilling 10mm polished porcelain was worth it. i made a guide out of ply to keep the bit steady to begin with and wet to keep it cool, then it went through clean and easy. 2 star for features, its a drill bit and doesn't have many features otherwise 5* 13 Sep 2015

Answer:
Hi http. While this is used primarily for making holes in tiles, it is possible that it could be used on glass. So as to control the drill, you should consider using it with the related product 85424: Erbauer Diamond Tile Drill Guide. Firstly try a test hole on a scrap piece of glass of the same thickness. I hope this information is of help to you.
