I have had my hole saw set for years and the 32mm cutter had seen better days and was really blunt. I chose this one to replace it and it has been really put through its paces in the last few days and has been brilliant!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by rogert Nightlatch hole in front door
Used to drill hole in an front external door, which was aluminium faced on both sides with a softwood core, to allow the fitting of a Yale nightlatch.
Did the job adequately and quickly.
Used again for neighbours door.
The holesaw still remains sharp.

UPSHOT = Great Tool, buy one!
I had some 2.5mm stainless sheet to drill and was thinking through the possibilities... local sheet metal people (who are generally good value) wanted £5 per hole and using them would have meant a lot of running about. I didn't really believe that a bit for about £5 from Screwfix would actually cut stainless even though it says so in the description, but took a chance thinking I might get one hole out of it. Well... it does do stainless and does it well.
In the packaging there was a thoughtfully provided cutting speeds chart which recommended a very low speed (well under 100 RPM) but the only drill I had access to was one that wouldn't go under 600RPM. The workshop was roasting hot, in one of the hottest days of the year, the workpiece wasn't properly held, we had no proper cutting fluid (but used lube oil) and were in a great hurry ...so we gave the bit a really hard time, managing to get it hot enough to lose a couple of teeth... but still it drilled 8 holes ***in stainless steel*** and the remaining teeth are still sharp. It's still usable even after severe abuse.
I can't say what its long term durability is like compared to professional bits that cost nearer £100 each, but from what I've seen it would give them stiff competition. The arbor (which is sold separately) is also pretty good. I'd certainly buy another, and utterly recommend this tool - it's worth every penny.
In fact, I'll probably buy a range of Erbauer Bi-metal core drills this week and just bin my Makita drill set ones which melted at the very sight of stainless.
