Like other reviews, I had to drill new holes in the frame and window as the fixing holes didn't line up with the old ones.
However with common sense and half an hour, these were easy to fit. Used the old screws as they dont come with any, measured how high the original hinges came above the window and screwed the new hinges to the same height. Then simply put the windows into the frame and pushed the hinge up as far as it would go and screwed into place.

I've only just fitted these hinges so I've no idea about reliability but I suspect they'll be fine. They weren't quite a direct swap for the originals but I didn't really expect them to be. The originals had a metal locating 'V' at the top, these have a plastic 'V' which being thicker meant the window sits lower in the frame. Re-drilling the window was all that was needed for a perfect fit

As per previous review the 13.5mm dimension refers to overall stack height of the hinge. The actual width of the bars is something like 16mm but can't remember exactly and I didn't write it down when I measured them before install. The design of the bar that mounted into the groove on the opening window meant the mechanism rubbed against the frame as it moved, so i had to shim it out slightly but other than that they were a doddle to fit on to a small upper window. The hole positions were different from the original hinges, but as these were all fitted with self-tapping / self-drilling screws this wasn't an issue.

I would not recommend this because I'm having to return it, the screw holes were all in the wrong place, and to make it fit I would have had to drill within 1mm of another hole.
